How Soundwell is funded
Last updated: 28 July 2026
Free to use. Transparent by design.
You will never pay Soundwell to search for an audiologist, request an appointment or use our referral service. If you proceed with a hearing device, the audiology practice may pay us a referral fee. This does not increase the price you pay through Soundwell.
We do not accept payment or sponsorship from hearing-aid manufacturers for featuring their brands or products. Any product information we provide is intended to make hearing care easier to understand, not to promote one manufacturer over another.
How we're funded
Soundwell does not charge people who use the website to find an audiologist or request an appointment.
Our service is funded by participating audiology practices. If a person referred through Soundwell proceeds with a hearing device, the practice may pay us a referral fee. Any appointment, treatment or product costs are agreed directly between the individual and the audiology practice.
Our manufacturer independence
We do not receive sponsorship, advertising payments or commission from hearing-aid manufacturers for displaying their brands or discussing their products. Brand and model information is presented for educational and transparency purposes. It should not be interpreted as an endorsement or a guarantee that a particular device will be suitable for every person.
An audiologist will make recommendations based on the individual's hearing, ear health, lifestyle, preferences and clinical needs.
