HCPC Registration

What is the HCPC?

The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is the UK regulator for audiologists and other health and care professionals. Registration means an audiologist has met the HCPC's standards of proficiency, education and conduct, and is subject to its fitness-to-practise process.

Our standard

Every audiologist who joins Soundwell must hold current HCPC registration before they can accept a booking through our platform. We verify registration status at onboarding and periodically thereafter.

Checking a registration yourself

You can independently verify any audiologist's HCPC registration using the HCPC's public register at hcpc-uk.org/check-the-register.

If you have a concern about the clinical care you received, please contact us via our Contact page so we can look into it. Serious concerns can also be raised directly with the HCPC.
