Cookie Policy

Last updated: 18 July 2026

What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help websites function and remember your preferences. We also use browser storage (such as localStorage) for some of the same purposes, for example, remembering your cookie choices or your light/dark theme preference. UK data protection law (PECR) treats these the same way as cookies, and so does this policy.

The table below lists every cookie and browser storage item this site sets, in full.

What Analytics cookies collect

If you consent to Analytics cookies, we collect the following to understand how visitors find and use the site. None of this is collected until you opt in, and you can withdraw consent at any time (see "Managing your cookie preferences" below).

  • Pages viewed and buttons clicked, which pages and booking buttons you interact with.
  • Approximate location, country/region/city, derived from your network connection. We do not use precise GPS location and never ask your browser for it.
  • Device and browser type, e.g. mobile/desktop, Chrome/Safari, operating system, so we know which devices to support.
  • How you found us, e.g. search engine, social media, or a specific referral link, bucketed into a general category rather than storing the exact page you came from.

This data is tied to an anonymous, browser-session-scoped identifier, not to your name or any account. It is used in aggregate to improve the site and is not sold to third parties.

Marketing cookies

Our cookie settings include a "Marketing" option, reserved for future use. At present, we do not set any marketing or advertising cookies, and choosing to allow or block this category currently has no effect. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before any such cookie is set.

Third-party cookies

We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, social media embeds, or any other third-party tracking or advertising cookies. All cookies and analytics on this site are first-party, set by Soundwell, run on our own systems, and never shared with ad networks.

How long we keep this data

Analytics data collected with your consent is kept only for as long as it remains useful for the purpose it was collected, to understand and improve how the site is used, and is deleted or anonymised once it is no longer needed. It is never kept indefinitely by default.

Managing your cookie preferences

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking in the footer of any page, which reopens the preferences panel. You can also block or delete cookies using your browser's settings, though blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect back-office functionality. Non-essential cookies (Analytics, Marketing) are off by default and only ever set after you actively choose to enable them.

Your data protection rights

For information about your wider rights over personal data we hold, including access, correction and deletion, see our Privacy Policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we introduce a new cookie or change how existing ones are used. Material changes will prompt the cookie banner to reappear so you can review and re-confirm your preferences. Check the "last updated" date at the top of this page to see when it last changed.
